We do have a waiting list of upto 6 weeks. I am doing quotes but will have to wait for a cleaner to become available......but i guess we are worth the wait....:D

What i have found is we care about our clients and whether we let them down, we always make sure we are there when we say we will be and nevr not just turn up. Some cleanung firms, which only have self employed staff to get away with paying hoildays are just thinking about targets and profits. We care we are doing a brill job and are realible, which i think counts for so much.
Sometimes we need to cancel due to illness, but on whole we run a smooth ship, abd this is due to the great cleaning team we have......all employed and enjoy the secruity of the holidays.:lol:

We are booking a few new clients for a january start date.
We are still restricted by VAT so only a few slots available.

So pleased! Due to big contracts ending we have some available slots to fill. I'm sure these won't be around for long but at least I'm not turning customers away.

After a dissappointing start as in having to turn away customers i have now been able to focus on bettering the service we provide. Now i no longer need to build the busines i am now building it for the better.
I hope the staff are happy and the customers feel valued and get good value for money.

We are having to close our books for now as we are full, not because we can`t cope but because if we take any more clients on we will have to be VAT registered which will have to put onto clients bills. and its a shame but clients don`t want to pay that as well as our hourly rate.
my view on VAT is that it needs to be seviced gendered. So services who price per hour should have the VAT threshold increased. Most of our total earnings goes on wages. And cause all our cleaners are employees and not self employeed we supply holidays and pensions. So this means the profit isn`t huge compaired to many of our competitors who can afford to charge VAT as they can reduce their outgoings by thousands by avoiding paying holidays etc.
As you can tell, i`m not happy at having to put on halt on our expension!!

This year is going to be exciting, we are going to have an experiment and see if the Hucknall model will work else where.
We have contacts in Oprington in London and have a very good friend who is going to over see the Oprington branch.
This is a massive leap for us as its going into unknown territory.
I (Heidi) am going to set up the same model as we have with Hucknall and see if it does work as far away as London. If it does work then we can branch out else where and take it from there.
I will be blogging on the progress and how we get on. It may not work and may find it too difficult, but if you don't try these things you will never find out.
